Mount Teide at sunset.
That magical moment
At the summit of Mount Teide, sunset, as the sun begins its descent. The light is no longer so intense, and the morning chill has faded. The sky ignites. It turns red, and everything becomes crimson, or as Edith Piaf sang, "La Vie en Rose." Undoubtedly, the best time to enjoy the view and take photographs. And as the red fades and darkens, the first planets appear, the moon (if it's visible that day), and the first stars: Jupiter, Saturn, the constellations of Scorpio and Sagittarius, and the Milky Way. Another spectacle begins, one of life's greatest pleasures: mountains, volcanoes, fiery sunsets, and starry skies.
