Teide Peak
FreeClimb Mount Teide in the easiest way possible. Take the cable car up and back down, and with a special permit from Teide National Park, access the trail that leads to the summit.

Duration: 40 minutes upwards and 20 minutes downwards
- Maximum altitude 3715 m
- 650 m route.
- High difficulty due to lack of oxygen (7% less than at sea level)
- PEOPLE WITH CARDIORESPIRATORY PROBLEMS SHOULD REFRAIN FROM ATTENDING.
- There are restrooms and a cafeteria in the lower station. Toilets are located in the upper station.
Description
Pick-up: 7:20 a.m.
- Starting altitude 3555 m. Maximum altitude 3715 m (Peak of TEIDE). Ending altitude 3555 m.
- 650m route. Medium difficulty, some glare with possibility of slipping.
- High difficulty due to lack of oxygen (7% less than at sea level). Maximum cardiorespiratory demands. Intense sunlight and very cold. Also windy. Sulfuric gases emanate from the volcano in the upper crater. Views of the Canary Islands and the Atlantic Ocean.
- The cable car ascends from 2300 m to the upper station at 3555 m. Each journey takes 7 minutes.
It is necessary to bring personal documentation, which will need to be shown at the checkpoint before accessing the trail that leads to Pico del Teide.
